In compliance with Governor Snyder's encouragement of local units of government to follow the state's lead and make financial information more transparent and accessible to residents, the City of Flat Rock has made a Citizen's Guide to Flat Rock and Performance Dashboards available online. Information is available on the Treasurer's Office page or by clicking the above links.

Now hiring lifeguards at Flat Rock Community Center.  Must have current Red Cross Certifications in Life guarding, CPR, AED and First aid.

TRAFFIC ADVISORY

EFFECTIVE MARCH 21, 2012 Until AUGUST 01, 2012
Road construction work on US-24 between Vreeland Road and West Road

Northbound and Southbound traffic will be shifted to the Northbound side of US-24, with one lane of traffic maintained in each direction.

2.07 miles of hot mix aspjhalt pavement reconstruction and widening, concrete curb and gutter, storm sewer, water main, sanitary sewer, signal upgrades, bridge replacment and extension, and pavement markings on US-24 (Telegraph Rd) from Vreeland Rd. to West Rd and on US-24 over SMith Creek in the City of Flat Rock, Wayne County.
