The C. E. Raines Company (CERCO) and Fishbeck, Thompson, Carr & Huber (FTCH) are working for the City of Flat Rock on the Wastewater and Storm Water Asset Management Program. The development of the plan will take approximately three years to complete. Over this time period, both of these consultants will have field staff throughout the City. You will see their trucks and staff performing work around sanitary sewer and storm water manholes, as well as pumping stations. The staff carry id badges.

Wayne County will be holding five collections this year at various locations. Note that May 2nd will be held here in Flat Rock!
Curbside yard waste pickup will begin March 17, 2015, and continue through December 17, 2015
Yard waste must be in paper bio-degradable bags or 30 gallon trash cans marked with a yard waste sticker (available at Flat Rock City Hall).
Yard waste in plastic bags will NOT be picked up.
The city of Flat Rock and Rizzo Environmental Services are now offering the residents of Flat Rock an opportunity to receive a 67 gallon wheeled recycling cart to use and join the Rizzo Rewards Recycling program. 2015 Animal Licenses will be available starting January 2, 2015, in the Treasurer's Department at City Hall. The cost is $7.00 each until April 30, after which they will be $14.00 each. For additional information please call 734-782-2463.
