Starting, April 20th, 2015, Division Street will be closed for sanitary sewer replacement
Initially, Division will be closed from N. Wesley to Cooke Street. Construction will be halted at the intersection of Cooke Street until June 6th (the last day of school) at that point, the entire section from N. Wesley to Gibraltar Rd. will be closed until September 4, 2015, to allow expedient completion of construction. This project includes sanitary sewer replacement, storm sewer replacement and street and sidewalk replacement in this entire area.
Reconstruction of Aspen Blvd. and High School Blvd. is scheduled to begin June 8, 2015. Work is planned with a goal of maintaining northbound and westbound traffic throughout the duration of the project, with a possible total closure to traffic exiting Woodcreek Park Subdivision for a period of 3 to 5 days. The contract for this project requires substantial completion by July 20th and final completion by August 17th. The contractor, Hard Rock Concrete, is very confident completion will be well before the contract terms.
Access to the Flat Rock Library will be maintained at all times. Please excuse this short term inconvenience as a much needed and long term solution.
