The Treasurer issues, adjusts and collects property taxes. Water payments, animal licenses, and all fees, licenses and permits from the Clerk's Office, Building Department, Police and Fire Departments. Recreation and Library funds are also collected in the Treasurer's Office.


****2022 WINTER TAX BILLS ARE NOW LATE****
AFTER 4:30 PM ON FEBRUARY 14, 202 PENALTY AND INTEREST WILL BE APPLIED. ANY PAYMENT MADE AFTER 4:30 PM ON FEBRUARY 14, 2023, WITHOUT ADDITIONAL FEES INCLUDED WILL BE RETURNED. NO PARTIAL PAYMENTS WILL BE ACCEPTED.

**PLEASE CONTACT THE TREASURER FOR ADDED FEES. SUMMER AND WINTER TAXES NOT PAID BY MARCH 1, 2023 WILL NEED TO BE PAID TO WAYNE COUNTY.**

 All tax and water payments to the City of Flat Rock must be received in our office on or before the due date of the bill or they will be subject to late fees and interest.  We will no longer accept the postmark date for payments.  

PLEASE NOTE: If you use your financial institution's bill-pay option, they do not guarantee delivery of the check to our office by the specified due date.  Please plan your payments accordingly.

You can now pay all your city bills (Water/Property Tax/Building Permits/Ambulance fees) online. There is a convenience fee for using our online payment system, as well as if you use a credit or debit card at city hall. Please CLICK HERE for more information.
