MISSION STATEMENT It is the mission of the Treasurer's Office to ensure the convenient, timely and accurate billing and collection of all city funds in an efficient and prudent manner. 

RESPONSIBILITESThe Treasurer issues, adjusts and collects property taxes. Water payments, animal licenses, and all fees, licenses and permits from the Clerk's Office, Building Department, Police and Fire Departments. Recreation and Library funds are also collected in the Treasurer's Office.

Winter 2023 Taxes2023 WINTER TAX BILLS ARE NOW LATE
AFTER 4:30 PM ON FEBRUARY 14, 2024 PENALTY AND INTEREST WILL BE APPLIED. ANY PAYMENT MADE AFTER 4:30 PM ON FEBRUARY 14, 2023, WITHOUT ADDITIONAL FEES INCLUDED WILL BE RETURNED. NO PARTIAL PAYMENTS WILL BE ACCEPTED.

*ATTENTION TAXPAYERS AND WATER CUSTOMERS*
All tax and water payments to the City of Flat Rock must be received in our office on or before the due date of the bill or they will be subject to late fees and interest.  We will no longer accept the postmark date for payments.  

PLEASE NOTE: If you use your financial institution's bill-pay option, they do not guarantee delivery of the check to our office by the specified due date.  Please plan your payments accordingly.
