ATTENTION: A $45.00 non-refundable application fee is required on all Building and Zoning applications. Payment is due at application submittal. If you decide to terminate your project a $50.00 cancellation fee will be sent out. One inspection is included with your permit. If the inspection does not pass an $85.00 re-inspection fee will be issued.

BUILDING PERMITS

CONSTRUCTION VALUE FEES (INCLUDES- CONCRETE PROJECTS (DRIVEWAY, PATIO, SIDEWALK), ROOF, PORCH, SIDING, SHED, WINDOWS):

Minimum for first $1,000: $75
$1,001 to $50,000: $75 + $10 for each additional $1,000
$50,001 to $500,000: $565 +$8 for each additional $1,000 < $50,000
$500,001 and Above: $4,165 + $6 per $1,000 over $500,000

SIGNS

Permanent Sign: $100 each
Temporary Sign: $75 each
Banners, Balloons, Pennants: $75 each
Plan Review Fee: $50

TEMPORARY PERMITS

Trailer, Portable Buildings, etc.: $150
Demolition: $50

ZONING PERMITS

DECKS

Deck Value: Minimum of $75, $10 per $1000
Plan Review Fee: Min: $75 Max: $125

FENCES

Fence Value: $75 for the first $1000, $10 per $1000
Plan Review Fee: $50

POOLS

Above Ground Swimming Pool: Minimum of $100
In Ground Swimming Pool: Minimum of $100, $10 per $1,000
Hot Tub and Equipment: $75
Plan Review Fee: $75
*All Pools require a separate Electrical Permit to be pulled at the time of submission

CITY PLAN REVIEW

Residential less than 1,600 sq. ft.: $300
Residential 1,601 sq. ft. and greater: $600
Commercial less than 12,000 sq. ft.: $1250
Commercial 12,001 to 50,000 sq. ft.: $1750
Commercial over 50,001 sq. ft.: $1750 Additional $10.00 per 1,000 sq. ft.
Rush Residential Review (24 Hour): $650
Rush Commercial less than 12,000 sq. ft.: $1,500
Rush Commercial 12,001 to 50,000 sq. ft.: $2,000
Rush Commercial over 50,001 sq. ft.: $2,500

If plans are rejected and require outside decisions based on the City Code of Ordinance, plans may be appointed to the Planning Commission and/or the Zoning Board of Appeals. Planning Commission members meet on the 4th Monday at 7:30pm. Zoning Board of Appeals meet on the 2nd Monday at 7pm.

PLANNING COMMISSION REVIEW (SITE PLANS, SUBDIVISION PLATS, REZONING, SPECIAL LAND USE, LOT SPLITS, ALLY VACATIONS, CONDO DEVELOPMENT)

Planning Consultant Fees: Per City's Contract with Consultant + 25% Admin
Engineer Review Fees: Per City's Contract with Consultant + 25% Admin
Special Meeting: $500
In House Fee: $500

ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS (VARIENCES)

Single Family Residential: $200
Commercial, Industrial, Multi-Family: $500
Special Meeting: $500

CERTIFICATE OF COMPLIANCE/ CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY

Residential Certificate of Occupancy: $100 Registration
Commercial Certificate of Occupancy: $200 Registration
Resale Inspection: $200 for Inspection
If Bond for Resale is Required: $25 Processing Fee
Rental Certificate of Compliance Building & fire inspection plus registration: $350 for Inspection every 3 years
Rental Additional Units: $350 plus $60 per unit
Vacant Structure- 1 Year: $500 Registration
Vacant Structure- 2 Years: $750 Registration
Vacant Structure- 3 Years: $900 Registration
Vacant Structure Inspection: $400 prior to Re-Occupancy

CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION

Builder License: $50 per year
Electrical License: $50 per year
Mechanical License: $50 length of license
Plumbing License: $50 per year
